Cancellation, Refund & Attendance Policy

To ensure fairness to all participants and to support instructor scheduling, equipment allocation, and limited class sizes, the following policy applies to all motorcycle training registrations.

Refund Deadline

• Refund requests must be submitted no later than two (2) business days prior to the course start date.
• Refund requests received less than two (2) business days before the course start will not be eligible for a refund.
• This aligns with the refund policy outlined on the Fanshawe Colleges website.

Late Cancellations & No-Shows

• Cancellations made within two (2) business days of the course start date will result in forfeiture of all course fees.
  • For the purposes of this policy, business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, statutory holidays, and any days the College is officially closed.
• Failure to attend the course (no-show) will result in forfeiture of all course fees.
• Due to limited class sizes and advance instructor scheduling, exceptions will not be granted.

Late Arrival Policy

• Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late for any portion of the course will not be permitted to continue.
• No refund or transfer will be issued in cases of late arrival.
• Punctual attendance is mandatory due to safety requirements and Ministry standards.

Participation Requirements

Students who are unable to participate due to:

• Failure to bring required safety gear,
• Incomplete documentation,
• Physical inability to safely operate a motorcycle,
• Leaving early for any reason,

will be considered a withdrawal and not be eligible for a refund.

Weather Policy

• Courses run rain or shine.
• Training will only be canceled if weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the instructor.
• If Fanshawe Corporate Training Solutions cancels a course due to unsafe weather, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, students will be offered:
  • A rescheduled date, or
  • A full refund.

Emergency Consideration

In cases of documented medical or family emergencies, rescheduling may be considered at the discretion of Fanshawe Corporate Training Solutions. Documentation may be required.
