Institute of Indigenous Learning intends to establish a learning environment that fosters the Indigenous spirit of creativity: recognizing your ideas are not the only source of ideas; enabling the work of the collective community; enhancing diverse ways of thinking; incorporating Indigenous ways of wisdom development; embracing the value of learning from our failures; and motivating with intellectual challenges. Kiskinaumatowin - Learning from each other in such a way that learning is interactive and interdependent, based on the equality of those involved.
